Jive to Integrate SAP(R) BusinessObjects(TM) OnDemand Offerings into Its Social Business Software For Unprecedented Visibility into Community Dynamics
The global shift toward social business is dramatically changing how companies collaborate internally and engage with customers and partners externally. As a result, social business initiatives are generating new data streams that offer critical competitive advantages. With this agreement, businesses will have unprecedented visibility into the behaviors and content that represents the value of social communities.
Of equal importance, this agreement will leverage SAP's leadership in software-as-a-service (SaaS) business intelligence, resulting in a complete cloud-based analytics and reporting solution for Jive SBS customers. Jive customers will benefit from a quick-to-deploy, secure, stable and flexible analytics offering that also removes the challenges and costs associated with procuring infrastructure and ongoing data management.
With SAP BusinessObjects BI OnDemand delivered as part of the Jive SBS platform, Jive customers will be able to share, discuss and collaborate around business data more effectively, enabling smarter decision-making by a larger number of business users. Rather than relying on a handful of analysts to produce static charts that end up buried in presentations, Jive customers will gain broad access to highly customizable and interactive reports, along with the unique ability to share, discuss and collaborate around this information.
"Jive and SAP share a vision which is to amplify the value of enterprise data and deliver world-class decision support," said
Highlights of the new offering include:
- Integration of SAP BusinessObjects BI OnDemand with Jive SBS to provide the most comprehensive community analytics capability on the market
- An on-demand version of SAP BusinessObjects Explorer software, enabling business users to search and navigate data from across their social network.
- Unprecedented ability to share, discuss and collaborate on business data generated by employee and public communities
"SAP is the leader in on-demand BI, and our relationship with Jive will help enable us to deliver collaborative BI to our joint customers," said
Jive and SAP will preview the new technology at Enterprise 2.0 in booth # 314.
