Laurus Technologies Expands Reach with RedHat Partnership

Laurus Technologies, Inc., a privately-held Itasca, Ill.-based consulting and technology solutions provider, announced today a partnership with Red Hat, Inc. to expand its presence in the free and open source software community. Red Hat is known in the industry as a major Linux distribution vendor and a leading purveyor of middleware, applications and management products.

This partnership is part of RedHat’s recent enhancement of its Partner Program which focuses on increasing business through indirect channels. This strategy is newly redesigned to give business partners such as Laurus additional economic, sales, marketing and technical benefits through the creation of new levels in partnership and solution specializations.

As an addition to the open source community, Laurus Technologies will collaborate and offer innovative and complete solutions to fit customers’ IT challenges. The Red Hat total solution now features three product specializations: infrastructure, middleware, and virtualization.

Laurus Technologies has been trained and certified by Red Hat in these core specialty areas to ensure the highest level of quality product management and installation in this new arena.
