G3 Global with Attenda Launches New Subscription-Based Hosting

For SAP Business All-In-One

Attenda Limited and G3 Global on Wednesday announced a partnership to launch a new subscription-based hosting offering for SAP Business All-in-One, as part of the G3 ConnectedBusinessCloudTM, the technology platform that enables business process innovation.

In the new partnership, G3 Global, UK SAP Channel Partner, launches G3 ConnectedBusinessCloud, a solution designed to drive massive cost savings for the mid-market by delivering a portfolio of pre-configured, fully integrated "Best Practice" SAP ERP and CRM business processes and business intelligence solutions, as part of the G3 Global ConnectedBusiness Concept.

The strength in the partnership is the integration of Attenda's Cloud & managed services delivery with G3 Global's innovation in the implementation, configuration and support of SAP Business All-in-One solutions. The G3 ConnectedBusinessCloud is built upon Attenda's Cloud Platform, Attenda RTI, providing the capability to rapidly scale computing resources up or down according to business demand, to implement cost effective disaster recovery solutions and to deliver unprecedented business agility.

Commenting on the new partnership with G3 Global, Simon Hansford, VP Service Strategy & Marketing, Attenda, says, "Our partnership with G3 Global is an important strategic alliance, combining G3's expertise in SAP business processes and the implementation and configuration of SAP industry solutions with Attenda's expertise in the operational management and hosting of enterprise critical applications, to deliver a subscription-based hosting offering for SAP Business All-In-One."

The G3 ConnectedBusinessCloud solution for SAP Business All-in-One, fully managed by Attenda, includes all licences, hosting, support and upgrades and facilitates the implementation of SAP within a rapid timeframe, within 4-8 weeks, enabling clients to derive almost immediate cost benefits from the efficiencies that it delivers to the business. It provides a highly available, functionally rich, robust, fully managed SAP solution, with all of the benefits enjoyed by larger enterprises, delivered within an accelerated implementation timeframe, at an affordable price point and with no additional burden on their internal IT resources.

G3's confidence in its affordable pre-configured SAP solutions for the SME market is reinforced by the decision to base all of its own mission critical ERP and CRM business processes on G3 ConnectedBusinessCloud solution.

As Chris Gunter, CEO, G3 Global explains, "We are confident that this is the right decision for our business and will position us strongly for growth. As a mid-size company ourselves, it not only reinforces the message that SAP is not just for large organisations, but more importantly, it provides our clients with the additional confidence that we are using the G3 ConnectedBusinessCloud to run our own business."

While the focus and objectives of IoT initiatives are many and diverse, they all share a few common attributes, and one of those is the network. Commonly, that network includes the Internet, over which there isn't any real control for performance and availability. Or is there? The current state of the art for Big Data analytics, as applied to network telemetry, offers new opportunities for improving and assuring operational integrity. The Jevons Paradox suggests that when technological advances increase efficiency of a resource, it results in an overall increase in consumption. Writing on the increased use of coal as a result of technological improvements, 19th-century economist William Stanley Jevons found that these improvements led to the development of new ways to utilize coal. In his session at 19th Cloud Expo, Mark Thiele, Chief Strategy Officer for Apcera, compared the Jevons Paradox to modern-day enterprise IT, examin...
