Xactly Introduces the Xactly Express Plan Store

Xactly Corporation today announced the release of the Xactly Express Plan Store, customizable sales compensation templates for small and emerging businesses. The Xactly Express Plan Store represents the first time any company has offered pre-built plan templates within a commission automation offering. Xactly is the leading provider of sales compensation and sales performance management solutions.

Built on decades of deep sales compensation experience, the Xactly Express Plan Store templates help small and emerging businesses take the pain out of managing and deploying an impactful sales compensation strategy.

The Express Plan Store is one of the latest innovations in Xactly Express, the industry’s first self-service sales compensation management software designed specifically for SMBs. Other new features in Xactly Express 2.4 include improved navigation, draws setup and credit adjustments, and custom new fields for payment rule formulas.

“Xactly Express makes it easy and affordable for emerging businesses, with little or no in-house compensation administration experience, to automate the sales compensation processes and start improving sales and operational efficiencies,” said Christopher Cabrera, president and CEO, Xactly Corporation. “The Xactly Express Plan Store takes this one step further by providing SMBs years of best-practice compensation plan expertise and know-how packaged in customizable templates. With the Xactly Express Plan Store, SMBs can be well on their way to creating a winning sales compensation strategy with the click of a few buttons.”

Xactly Express Plan Store Opens Door to Better, More Effective Sales Compensation for SMBs

Sales incentive plans that appropriately reward different roles for their different goals are time consuming to create and, when maintained on cumbersome spreadsheets, error prone.

Using the Xactly Express Plan Store, businesses can select plans from a library of templates and begin rewarding the most common sales roles appropriately. By automating the sales compensation process with time-tested plans, users can reduce administration time and reduce errors, while gaining better insight into rep and team quota attainment and compensation payments. In addition, the offering provides management and reps immediate intelligence into sales performance, allowing them to adjust strategies in real-time, improve accountability and deliver better sales results.

“As a fast growing company, it is crucial that we maximize our resources and personnel to keep up with the demands of our business,” said Sudheesh Nair, Director of Worldwide Sales, Nutainix. “Xactly Express has allowed us to free up countless hours that were previously spent manually tracking sales commissions, while also enabling us to improve sales effectiveness and visibility. The new Plan Store feature in Xactly Express will allow us to take compensation to the next level by easily tapping time-tested, best practice plans that were developed through years of customer expertise. With the plans, we will be able to take more time out of compensation administration and apply it towards delivering more strategic, impactful sales compensation programs that drive better sales results.” One of VentureWire’s FASTech 50 Most Innovative Tech Start-Ups, Nutanix is the first company to offer a radically simple compute and storage infrastructure for implementing enterprise-class virtualization without complex and expensive network storage (SAN or NAS).

The five plans currently available in the Xactly Express Plan Store reward sales roles of all types – from managers to specialists to individuals and teams. New templates will be added to the plan store regularly based on customer feedback.

Since Xactly Express is delivered in the cloud, existing customers can take immediate advantage of all new features and plan templates.

Xactly Express 2.4 Eases Compensation Planning and Payment Complexity

With a guided, intuitive workflow, Xactly Express enables users with little to no compensation administration experience to calculate commissions and export payments to payroll. Pre-integrated social media features, including Salesforce Chatter, and easy access on mobile devices, such as the iPad, make it simple for Xactly Express users to better communicate with business stakeholders, anytime, anywhere.

New features in Xactly 2.4 further ease administration through improved compensation planning and payment features, including:

  • Enhanced navigation for administrators: includes a new top-level menu with sub-menu items that automatically appear when hovering a mouse over an item. Chatter details and user profile information are available with just one click.
  • Improved Draws Setup: simplifies the process of setting up draws and guarantees, allowing customers to select the type of draw, complete the schedule, and select the period in which a recovery should start. The new release also allows administrators to specify how the recovery works, manually adjust the recovery or draw balance and report on the impact to the payout.
  • Enhanced Credit Adjustment: allows customers to more easily ramp up new sales representatives and adjust credit results. After selecting the person, plan, and payment, users can easily change the results for that person.
  • Custom Fields for Payment Rules: adds support for five additional custom fields that customers can use within payment rule formulas. Users can use these new custom fields to calculate formulas at the payee level, if required. This will help with person specific attributes - like weighting based on geography.

Where many organizations get into trouble, however, is that they try to have a broad and deep knowledge in each of these areas. This is a huge blow to an organization's productivity. By automating or outsourcing some of these pieces, such as databases, infrastructure, and networks, your team can instead focus on development, testing, and deployment. Further, organizations that focus their attention on these areas can eventually move to a test-driven development structure that condenses several l...
The term "digital transformation" (DX) is being used by everyone for just about any company initiative that involves technology, the web, ecommerce, software, or even customer experience. While the term has certainly turned into a buzzword with a lot of hype, the transition to a more connected, digital world is real and comes with real challenges. Over the course of two days, in addition to insightful conversations and presentations delving into the industry's current pressing challenges, there was considerable buzz about digital transformation and how it is enabling global enterprises to accelerate business growth. Never mind that we might not know what the future holds for cryptocurrencies and how much values will fluctuate or even how the process of mining a coin could cost as much as the value of the coin itself - cryptocurrency mining is a hot industry and shows no signs of slowing down. However, energy consumption to mine cryptocurrency is one of the biggest issues facing this industry. Burning huge amounts of electricity isn't incidental to cryptocurrency, it's basically embedded in the core of "mini...
Every organization is facing their own Digital Transformation as they attempt to stay ahead of the competition, or worse, just keep up. Each new opportunity, whether embracing machine learning, IoT, or a cloud migration, seems to bring new development, deployment, and management models. The results are more diverse and federated computing models than any time in our history.
