Novetta Solutions Created Through Combination of White Oak Technologies and FGM

Arlington Capital Partners, through its portfolio company White Oak Technologies, Inc. (“WOTI”), today announced a merger with FGM, Inc. (“FGM”) to create Novetta Solutions (“Novetta”). Novetta provides high-end, mission critical technology solutions to customers within the Intelligence and Defense Communities and other organizations working with massive quantities of data. Joining Novetta as Chief Executive Officer is Peter LaMontagne, a veteran federal executive with 23 years of National Security and technology experience.

“We are delighted to have found complementary capabilities and the same core WOTI values in FGM,” said Alan Broder, White Oak’s Chief Executive Officer who has been appointed Novetta Chairman and Fellow. “FGM’s expertise in data analytics and information sharing complements WOTI’s WAREMAN® Pro software and big data strengths and will provide enhanced solutions for our government clients.”

Scott Gessay, FGM’s Chief Executive Officer and now President of Novetta added, “This deal will greatly benefit our customers and employees. We can now offer a broader range of high-end capabilities, helping our customers ‘connect the dots’ to identify potential threats. Novetta’s employees and technology solutions ensure the safety of our citizens and protect our cyber infrastructure.”

The transaction creates a pre-eminent technology company supporting clients in some of the nation’s most sensitive environments. Novetta’s core capabilities include information exploitation, cyber security, cloud computing and solution engineering. The company has approximately 350 highly skilled, cleared employees.

“I’m thrilled to join Novetta,” LaMontagne said. “With the merger, the company is truly an elite technology focused platform. Combining these companies’ capabilities, qualifications and expert employees dramatically augments their ability to serve national security needs. I’m proud to be a part of such a talented team.”

LaMontagne was most recently a leader in CACI’s cyber defense practice. Prior to CACI, he was President and CEO of Paradigm Holdings and a Senior Vice President at ManTech International Corp. He began his career as a U.S. Foreign Service Officer having served at the U.S. Embassy in Beijing.

“We are excited to bring together two high-end, technology-driven companies with outstanding reputations in the Intelligence and Defense Communities,” said Michael Lustbader, a Partner of Arlington Capital. “Novetta’s capabilities address some of our government’s greatest and most pressing information technology requirements. Arlington plans to provide significant additional capital to support Novetta’s growth plans.”

Jeffrey Freed, a Managing Partner of Arlington said, “Novetta enables federal agencies to analyze and securely share data on a massive scale. We are excited to partner with Peter as we continue to build the company, further expanding our intellectual property and solutions.”

The senior management of Novetta will be drawn from the existing teams at WOTI and FGM. Along with LaMontagne, Broder and Gessay the senior management team will include Kris Heim, Chief Technology Officer; Larry Chang, Senior Vice President of Operations; and Mike Fox, Senior Vice President of Corporate Business Development and Chief Strategy Officer.
