CentriNet Corporation Receives the Citrix Subject Matter Expert of the Year Award for 2011

ALPHARETTA, Ga., April 4, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Mark Ma of CentriNet Corporation receives the Citrix Subject Matter Expert of the year award for 2011 for outstanding consistent contributions to Citrix's Subject Matter Expert (SME) Program. The SME program consists of several hundred professionals worldwide who possess superior knowledge of not only Citrix technology across the board, but have real life wisdom of best practices and methodologies. Before attaining the status of SME, each candidate must be an active and valuable addition to the global collective of experts of the Citrix products, only then through invitation can they gain the title of SME.

Unlike a certification or textbook that is created in a place removed from real world scenarios, Citrix, aiming to create a world class training and certification program, generates its coursework through the contributions from the real life experiences of those who work in the field every day. In this way, the trusted Citrix partners not only have the ability to be involved in the evolution of Citrix, but to draw upon the vast community of seasoned Citrix experts as a resource.

CentriNet Corporation has been involved in the Citrix SME program since 2005 and is also the only Citrix Platinum Partner in Georgia and is among only a select few within the whole of the southeast at the Citrix platinum level. CentriNet's involvement with the SME program was a great opportunity. "This is one of the ways in which CentriNet has continued to distinguish itself as at the forefront of virtualization technologies as they evolve. We were grateful for the award within the SME program," said Dario Ferreira, Executive Vice President of CentriNet.

Since early 2000, CentriNet Corporation has established itself as not only a first class consulting organization, but a leading virtualization technology integrator within the South Eastern region of the United States. With an average of over 10 years of experience per engineer, CentriNet Corporation holds high level certifications for Citrix, VMware, Microsoft and the many other technologies involved in a successful implementation. Finding an elegant solution that closes the divide between IT and business while adhering to budget and timeframe has been the paramount focus of every project since CentriNet Corporation's inception.

While the focus and objectives of IoT initiatives are many and diverse, they all share a few common attributes, and one of those is the network. Commonly, that network includes the Internet, over which there isn't any real control for performance and availability. Or is there? The current state of the art for Big Data analytics, as applied to network telemetry, offers new opportunities for improving and assuring operational integrity. In his session at @ThingsExpo, Jim Frey, Vice President of S...

In this Power Panel at @ThingsExpo, moderated by Conference Chair Roger Strukhoff, panelists discussed what things are the most important, which will have the most profound e...
The Jevons Paradox suggests that when technological advances increase efficiency of a resource, it results in an overall increase in consumption. Writing on the increased use of coal as a result of technological improvements, 19th-century economist William Stanley Jevons found that these improvements led to the development of new ways to utilize coal. In his session at 19th Cloud Expo, Mark Thiele, Chief Strategy Officer for Apcera, compared the Jevons Paradox to modern-day enterprise IT, examin...
