BOXBOROUGH, Mass., Nov. 5, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Crossbeam Systems, Inc., the leading provider of next-generation security platforms for high-performance networks, today announced an expansion of its global channel partner program. The Crossbeam Authorized Partner Program (CAPP) now includes a CAP Elite tier to support a dedicated number of resellers addressing customer demand for high-performance, scalable security solutions that can protect large data center environments and cloud infrastructure.

"CAPP is highly selective, allowing us to strategically engage with partners to ensure they can profitably grow their business and support the needs of enterprise and service provider customers," said Peter Doggart, senior director of global marketing for Crossbeam. "CAP Elite takes this program to the next level, rewarding top partners who have demonstrated their commitment to Crossbeam, and are at the forefront of the network security market with their solutions and expertise. The Elite tier is designed to substantially boost their revenue streams by delivering the incentives, resources, training and on-the-ground support that will position them for greater success."
CAP Elite partner benefits include preferred training and sales support, special pricing, as well as priority lead access, marketing fund support, and participation on the Crossbeam Advisory Board. Another key benefit is free, priority access to Crossbeam X-Series equipment so Elite partners can showcase their services to prospective clients and demonstrate the performance of an X-Series platform running best-in-class security software from Crossbeam's leading ISV (independent software vendors) partners.
"Trends like BYOD and cloud computing are transforming how our customers do business, and it requires security infrastructure that can easily scale and adapt to these changes," said Gary Fish, founder and CEO at FishNet Security. "We have been able to meet these demands with comprehensive security solutions based on Crossbeam's best-of-breed security architecture. Being a CAP Elite partner will greatly enhance our ability to support customers and foster tighter collaboration with Crossbeam to identify and win new business."
Additionally, Crossbeam has streamlined CAPP by simplifying how all partners achieve and maintain partner status, empowering them to create their own competitive offerings through:
- Access to a host of sales tools and support, including competitive discounting and aggressive marketing and demand-generation campaigns;
- Fast-tracking of deals through Crossbeam's collaborative sales approach;
- Complimentary sales training; and
- Special incentives to drive incremental business.
