To support the expanding role of the network in deploying cloud services, Quest announced today it has achieved the Cisco Cloud Provider Certification with a Cisco Powered Cloud Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) designation. Additionally Quest has achieved the Cisco® Master Managed Services Certification. This certification recognizes Quest’s investment in the ITIL® processes, practices and tools necessary to provide high-quality managed services.
The Cisco Cloud Provider Certification recognizes Quest’s investment in building, owning and operating its own data centers to offer cloud services (IaaS-as-a-service) in a multitenant environment to end customers. Additionally, as a Cisco Powered IaaS designation, Quest’s cloud IaaS offering is deployed using a Cisco validated infrastructure application.
“Among today’s leading Cloud capabilities, Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) has proven itself as mature and real-world tested -- essentially the heart of any Cloud environment,” commented Tim Burke, Quest President and CEO. “The Cisco Cloud provider certification complements our comprehensive and integrated amalgam of Cloud infrastructure consisting of automated management, virtualization, security and virtual machine isolation provided from our global Service Delivery Centers.”
As a Cisco Master Managed Services Certified Partner, Quest demonstrated the ability to deliver sophisticated solutions, meet stringent requirements that reflect a depth of capabilities, and pass an independent audit by an objective third-party auditor.
“For over a decade, before the term ‘Cloud’ was coined, Quest was offering Managed Services to help our customers combine the cost advantages of mass-produced commodity products and services with customized design. Quest offers a predictable, recurring monthly cost thus freeing up CapEx and scaling to meet business needs,” stated Tim Burke, Quest President and CEO. “The Cisco Master Managed Services certification highlights Quest’s well-established offering, which includes configuration and integration, as it expands and develops to meet increasing customer demand.”
Further, Edison Peres, senior vice president of worldwide channels at Cisco commented, “Quest’s investment in the Cisco Master Managed Services Certification ranks it among an elite group of channel partners with the resources to deploy, manage and support services for multiple technologies.”
