Philip Lieberman, President and CEO of Lieberman Software Corporation, will serve as moderator of the session “Identity Management in the Cloud” at the Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) Congress, November 8 from 1:45 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. CSA Congress, a premier event for IT security professionals and executives, is dedicated to cloud security and will be held in Orlando, FL on November 7 and 8.
Lieberman will be joined by panelists David Baker, Chief Security Officer, Okta; Adam Bosnian, EVP Americas & Corporate Development, Cyber-Ark Software; Patrick Harding, CTO, Ping Identity; and Darran Rolls, Chief Technology Officer, SailPoint.
"Security is undoubtedly today’s top concern about cloud computing,” Lieberman said. “As cloud infrastructures grow so do questions about transparency and exactly how service providers are safeguarding customer data from access by unauthorized insiders, hackers, and even other customers. It's time for customers to demand proof of the cloud providers' security controls and documented compliance with the same standards – FISMA, PCI-DSS, SOX and other mandates – that are enforced in the customers' own datacenters.
The “Identity Management in the Cloud” session will examine current Identity Access Management (IAM) models in the cloud. Panelists will share their insights on the challenges of implementing IAM solutions in the cloud, including real-world cloud/hybrid IAM implementations and the reasons behind the success or failure of these projects. Panelists will also discuss how security and compliance drive IAM in the cloud, and will look at what the future will hold for IAM in the cloud.
