COLUMBIA, MD -- (Marketwire) -- 11/08/12 -- PEAK Technologies today announced that it has completed its company name change to Peak-Ryzex, effective immediately. Since PEAK Technologies acquired Ryzex in late 2011, both organizations have undergone a major transformation, dramatically expanding the number of resources available to customers, increasing the solutions and services portfolio, strengthening the company's overall geographic footprint, while also merging back-end business and processes through the company's SAP® ERP system.
To reflect this transformation, PEAK engaged a third party to conduct a branding study which guided the company's naming strategy.
"We selected a name for the combined business that is built from the foundation of both brands to further establish our unique identity in the industry and to better represent our full portfolio of solutions and services," said Ross Young, CEO of Peak-Ryzex. "The new Peak-Ryzex name encompasses the full breadth of offerings from both companies: the PEAK Technologies expertise in supply chain automation, SAP logistics execution solutions, enterprise printing and life cycle services combined with Ryzex's market leadership in mobility and advanced data capture solutions," added Young.
Now more than 500 employees strong, Peak-Ryzex delivers the financial strength, international presence, solutions expertise, and the depth and breadth of experience needed to support even the most extensive and sophisticated enterprise.
"We are extremely excited about the launch of our new company name and are eager to share the Peak-Ryzex value proposition and enhanced suite of offerings in areas such as SAP integration and mobility solutions with our customers now that we are operating together as one company," said Tim Wills, Vice President of Marketing and Support, Peak-Ryzex. "The combination of the two companies to form Peak-Ryzex creates a force multiplier with more skilled resources in more places to help our customers implement, maintain and manage end-to-end solutions that ultimately help improve the performance of their businesses," added Wills.
To support the new name launch, the company unveiled a redesigned website, www.peak-ryzex.com, featuring a unified product, service and solution portfolio.
