BEIJING, Dec. 3, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Cloud computing, the third wave of IT, is one of the fastest-growing emerging industries in the world with ever-expanding uses for both governments and enterprises. According to the latest quarterly IT Spending Report from Gartner, the global public cloud service market, which exceeded $91 billion in 2011, is expected to increase by 19 percent to $109 billion by the end of 2012. Local backup programs struggle to ensure that data is not lost and the cost of remote disaster recovery remains prohibitively high for many. In addition, careful access control is required to avoid data leakage, and massive amounts of data require enterprises to hire special personnel to implement and manage backup, increasing labor costs.
