Denver, CO, December 30, 2012 --(PR.com)-- CityNet President Matthew Splitt announced today that the company is adding to its Internet access product line. Internet delivered over Ethernet with download speeds up to 70 Mbps is now available to business customers in Denver, CO.
The new Internet product is already offered to residential properties. The Rio Grande Lofts building in Denver, where Ethernet cable has been run to all 120 apartment units, has been a great success. Thirty percent of residents there have signed up for 32 Mbps Ethernet access at $49.95/month. Other residential buildings already Ethernet capable include Waterside Lofts, Palace Lofts and the Bank and Boston Lofts in Denver.
CityNet is also offering Internet access via Wireless at 18 Mbps to select buildings in Denver where ethernet is unavailable.
"Businesses that migrate to cloud computing and other Internet apps soon find themselves needing more and more bandwidth," says Splitt. "We can now satisfy data-hungry networks by providing large amounts of bandwidth, load balanced across multiple connections for speed and redundancy, at a very affordable price."
Splitt adds, "As for home service, residential Internet is no longer what it used to be. An explosion of apps, sites and devices has made it crucial to have a quality, very high-speed Internet connection."
About CityNet: CityNet has been delivering high speed Internet to multiple dwelling units and office buildings since 2003. CityNet President Matt Splitt started as Denver's first DIRECTV system operator in 1997.
