Tractor Supply Company Outsources Data Center Hosting to Peak 10

National IT infrastructure and cloud solutions provider Peak 10 Inc. has been selected to host the data center of Tractor Supply Company (TSC), the largest retail farm and ranch store chain in the United States. TSC is leveraging 24/7 staff in Peak 10’s Nashville, Tenn. facility to maintain its data center environment.

Tractor Supply Company, a supplier of basic maintenance products of farm, ranch and rural customers, is experiencing strong growth and has plans to expand its national footprint. By bolstering its IT operations with Peak 10’s data center facilities and best-of-breed technologies, TSC can support its growth plans, increase its agility, lower costs, improve performance and focus its internal resources on its core competency, retail.

“Our relationship with Peak 10 provides us with best in class IT infrastructure that is both highly available and conveniently located,” said James Callison, chief information officer for Tractor Supply Company. “With our data center environment securely set up at Peak 10 Nashville, we are now able to dedicate our efforts to expanding our retail services for our customers knowing that our mission-critical data is in trusted hands.”

Tractor Supply Company is a leading edge retailer with more than 1,151 stores in 45 states, 17,000 team members and revenues of approximately $4 billion. Peak 10 offers TSC the ability to flexibly and cost-effectively support its need to scale the business as it grows without significant capital expense.

“We are proud to work with an esteemed organization like Tractor Supply Company,” said Drew Fassett, regional vice president for Peak 10. “Our solutions for them are designed to scale and adapt to their needs. As Tractor Supply Company continues its growth trajectory, Peak 10 will be on hand to maintain and upgrade its IT infrastructure as needed. Our cultures and values align nicely and will facilitate open communication for strategic planning.”

In addition to its Nashville location, Peak 10 operates in nine other cities in the U.S., serving customers around the globe. The fast-growing company, headquartered in Charlotte, N.C., announced earlier last year the opening of its third data center in Nashville, Tenn. The 41,000-square-foot addition brought Peak 10 Nashville’s total footprint to 71,500 square feet. Peak 10’s enterprise-class facilities are the backbone for its robust cloud offerings. In addition to its Enterprise and Private Cloud services, Peak 10 offers a HIPAA-compliant Cloud service, a PCI-compliant Cloud service and a Recovery Cloud service.
