NIIT Technologies, a leading global IT solutions organization, announced today that it has selected NICE Actimize, a NICE Systems business and the largest and broadest provider of a single financial crime, risk and compliance software platform for the financial services industry, as a provider for Suspicious Activity Monitoring solutions for NIIT Technologies’ mid-tier Banks and Credit Unions.
The Actimize Suspicious Activity Monitoring solution is part of the Actimize Anti-Money Laundering Solutions suite, providing end-to-end coverage to identify and report suspicious transactions related to money laundering and terrorist financing, assisting firms to meet the requirements of current regulations and quickly adapt to the evolving regulatory environment.
Under the terms of the agreement, NIIT Technologies is able to offer the NICE Actimize Suspicious Activity Monitoring solution individually, or bundled with NIIT Technologies’ compliance and business process operations solutions to smaller and mid-tier retail banks (based on assets) in the U.S, predominantly in a hosted, fully-serviced environment. This solution will provide clients with a Best-in-Class AML platform, conversion of fixed expenses to variable, and the ability to scale on demand.
Ravi Nimmagadda, Senior Vice President of Banking & Financial Services at NIIT Technologies, said, "The NICE Actimize award-winning solution, coupled with our own Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) solutions, bring a unique and exciting value to the small and medium size banks that otherwise would not be able to realize the advanced AML capabilities of their larger competitors at a very affordable price point. The hosted technology solution bundled with operations as a “service” is a powerful choice compared to the fixed capital expenses normally associated with AML and GRC requirements at a time when banks continue their focus on growth and regulatory compliance.”
Lalit Dhingra, President of NIIT Technologies, said, “We are pleased to add this quality solution from NICE Actimize to further enhance our suite of solutions specifically geared to the community bank and mid-tier financial institutions market.”
