CI&T Achieves Google Cloud Partner Specialization In Machine Learning

Digital Tech Agency Recognized for Demonstrated Success in Building Large Scale Machine Learning Models

NEW YORK, March 7, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- CI&T, global digital solutions specialist chosen by leading companies to drive their most innovative initiatives, is announcing its machine learning achievement in the newly announced Google Cloud Partner Specialization Program. The Google Cloud Partner Specialization Program identifies qualified partners that have demonstrated technical proficiency and proven success in specialized solution and service areas including application development, big data and machine learning.

To receive the machine learning recognition, CI&T demonstrated success building sophisticated, large scale machine learning models and using Google's pre-trained Machine Learning APIs.

"Achieving the Google Cloud Machine Learning Specialization recognition is an honor for CI&T and validates how seriously we take our commitment to delivering advanced technology solutions to some of the world's top companies," said Bruno Guicardi, President, CI&T.

Mars Cyrillo, CI&T's VP of the Machine Learning practice, adds, "We have made significant early investments in Machine Learning with a clear value proposition to augment what our customers can get from Google Cloud APIs in particular. It's reassuring for us to be included among the few companies to be selected by Google Cloud as a launch partner for this specialization."

CI&T works closely with Fortune 100 companies to identify areas where advanced technologies can have the biggest impact and then develops a plan for implementation. The result is that CI&T enables these enterprise giants to move quickly and nimbly so more bold ideas get to market faster and with a greater ability to adapt over time. Specifically for Machine Learning, CI&T believes companies should first build simple applications with clear impact, before trying any sort of moonshot program.

The Internet of Things will challenge the status quo of how IT and development organizations operate. Or will it? Certainly the fog layer of IoT requires special insights about data ontology, security and transactional integrity. But the developmental challenges are the same: People, Process and Platform and how we integrate our thinking to solve complicated problems. In his session at 19th Cloud Expo, Craig Sproule, CEO of Metavine, demonstrated how to move beyond today's coding paradigm and sh...
What are the new priorities for the connected business? First: businesses need to think differently about the types of connections they will need to make – these span well beyond the traditional app to app into more modern forms of integration including SaaS integrations, mobile integrations, APIs, device integration and Big Data integration. It’s important these are unified together vs. doing them all piecemeal. Second, these types of connections need to be simple to design, adapt and configure...
Cell networks have the advantage of long-range communications, reaching an estimated 90% of the world. But cell networks such as 2G, 3G and LTE consume lots of power and were designed for connecting people. They are not optimized for low- or battery-powered devices or for IoT applications with infrequently transmitted data. Cell IoT modules that support narrow-band IoT and 4G cell networks will enable cell connectivity, device management, and app enablement for low-power wide-area network IoT. B...
