SAP-Focused Integration Provider Joins the Talend Alliance Program as a Gold Partner to Simplify Data Integration Projects
May. 5, 2008 04:30 PM
Talend announced that Pipeline Software has signed a strategic
partnership within the Talend Alliance Program. Under the terms of the
agreement, the optimized interoperability between Talend's open source data
integration technologies and Pipeline Software’s Transporter solution will
allow customers to integrate data between SAP and other business-critical
applications.
SAP is a highly successful but complex system that presents
many challenges to companies wishing to integrate it with other systems. Talend
has joined forces with Pipeline Software to ease the burden of complicated
data-related tasks involving information residing within enterprise SAP
applications. The partnership provides SAP customers with a combination of
Talend's best-of-breed data integration solutions - Talend Open Studio and
Talend Integration Suite - and Pipeline Software's industry proven SAP
certified Transporter Connector Studio, extensive service and consulting
expertise, and additional tools to address their data integration needs and
successfully deploy and leverage data within an SAP environment.
“Talend offers an impressive solution with exceptional
product functionality and customer support,” said Raju Patel, chief technology
officer of Pipeline Software. “We are excited about our collaboration with
Talend. The combined Talend and Pipeline solution provides a compelling
offering for new customers needing to deploy complex SAP data integration
projects quickly, efficiently and cost-effectively. Our existing customers with
projects requiring additional data extraction and transformation would also
benefit from adding the Talend solution.”
“Talend relies greatly on the exceptional feedback of our
user community, and by partnering with Pipeline, we are addressing the need for
simplified SAP integration that our customers require,” said Vincent Pineau,
Talend's vice president and general manager Americas. “This partnership speaks
to the relevancy, scalability and compatibility of Talend’s open source data
integration offerings. We look forward to working with the Pipeline team, to
help customers tackle large enterprise data projects.”
Talend first announced its formal partner program, the
Talend Alliance Program, back in October 2007. Through the program, Talend is
giving systems integrators, consulting firms and other IT service providers the
flexible, easy-to-use platform they require to build cost-effective yet
higher-margin solutions for their customers. As a Talend Gold Partner, Pipeline
receives technical, sales and marketing support from Talend on the data integration
projects the company runs on behalf of its clients.
