Albuquerque/Bernalillo County Water Utility Authority Implements UC4 to Help Automate Processes

UC4 Workload Automation Suite Automates Previously Manual Handoffs to Oracle(R) Utilities Customer Care & Billing; Simplifies Implementation and Improves Customer Service

BELLEVUE, WA -- (Marketwire) -- 04/27/09 -- UC4 Software, a leading provider of workload automation, job scheduling and IT process optimization solutions, today announced that Albuquerque/Bernalillo County Water Utility Authority (ABCWUA) has implemented UC4 Workload Automation Suite to help automate business processes. Using UC4, ABCWUA is able to deliver low-cost, secure, scalable and speedy customer processing.

"UC4 not only provides a premium product that eliminates the worry that all your billing and payment batch processes are running at night, but they have relieved many of our stresses as a project team on a tight go-live schedule," said René Newton, applications development manager, and project manager for the CC&B team, Albuquerque/Bernalillo County Water Utility Authority. "UC4 worked with us on training and support on short-notice timelines, provided quick and in-depth responses to our installation and threading questions and concerns, and provided us the answers and solutions we needed."

UC4 Workload Automation Suite works with Oracle® Customer Care & Billing (CC&B) by automating many of the common manual handoffs that occur throughout billing and financial processes. CC&B jobs and job streams can be imported into UC4's Workload Automation Suite, and once imported, easily modified to meet the specific needs of an organization. Processes become visible, fully auditable and easier to maintain through UC4 and the end-to-end business process is accelerated. UC4 integrates with Oracle CC&B version 2.2 and can adapt to its new lightweight batch submission scripts and technology.

"Albuquerque/Bernalillo County Water Utility Authority turned to UC4 to ensure error-free billing processes and quality customer service. Instead of spending critical employee time on business processing, they will be able to dedicate more resources to customers' needs," said Ken Jackson, president of UC4 Software, Americas. "As a Certified Advantage Partner in the Oracle PartnerNetwork, UC4 is committed to maintaining validated integration with Oracle applications, and we're in the process of completing Oracle validated integration testing for this product as well. We are proud to be the only company offering this solution."

Digital Transformation is much more than a buzzword. The radical shift to digital mechanisms for almost every process is evident across all industries and verticals. IoT is rapidly becoming mainstream as more and more investments are made into the platforms and technology. As this movement continues to expand and gain momentum it creates a massive wall of noise that can be difficult to sift through.
